My TOP 8 Songs Lately

When it comes to music, we always think of it like a soul. Something that could understand us like no one else, that can even describes our feelings, moods and all. Music can speaks a million words, so that these days we don’t have to say things that we felt so uncomfortable to say. Talking about music, every single person indeed have their own genres, their own preference and yes, their own playlist. And I feel like I want to lists my TOP 8 songs.

Before that, let’s talk about the genre first. What is your favorite? For me, I’ve been listening to a indie-pop or folk music lately. I don’t know why I love those genre, I just love hearing those because it can makes me feel at ease as the lyrics are too real and feels natural. My favorite singers are Lorde, Birdy, Halsey and Ed Sheeran. They can brought my feelings when I listen to their songs. So that’s why I made a playlist that included one or two of their songs such as:

1.      Castle On The Hills by Ed Sheeran. This song truly a legend. The video of this song’s lyrics was the first video that he uploaded on youtube after the long hiatus that he had. Why I love this song? Because he can bring me to the past with him like really, the lyrics are too deep and I can even imagine this was based on his true stories of his life. He sang it perfectly so I fell deeply in love with his song and voice.

2.      How Would You Feel by Ed Sheeran (again). Since I love to write, this song has led me to write another story. He opened my inspiration. And not to mention that the lyrics also beautiful with very deep meaning that I really love. He can really stirred up my emotions. Truly a Legend.

3.      Colors by Halsey. I ended up listening this song after I listen to her other song “Gasoline”. I ended up being addicted to this song even after I played it for a whole day! Even though I don’t really got the exact meaning of this song, still, it must be has a deep meaning for sure xD

4.      Helium by Sia. I haven’t watched Fifty Shades Darker yet I really like this song. This song is one of the movie’s OST. I found this song when I look up for the “New Releases” song on Spotify. And guess why I love this song? Yes, it’s because the genre. I really love the slow music yet has a deep lyrics and meaning.

5.      That’s What I Like – Bruno Mars. I know he never failed me as a singer. After listening Versace On the Floor, this is another song of him in his latest album that I really addicted to!

6.      Liability by Lorde. Gosh, I don’t know why she always comeback with the song that I really enjoyed to listen to! She really knows how to pleased fans with her song. This is by far my favorite song among all of the above. They are all my favorite but this song is my most favorite for now.

7.      Hold On by Chord Overstreet. Yep! Thanks to The Vampire Diaries for playing this song as their background music at the series finale. I know Chord has released this song before it played on the show, but I haven’t heard it yet until I watch TVD. He really improved so much. I really enjoyed this song as much as I enjoyed watching The Vampire Diaries.

8.      Defying Grafity sung by Lea Michele On Glee. Yes, last but not least. This song, I think will be my “very old but I still love” song. This is from the first season of Glee and I still have this in my playlist. I know this song was a cover but Lea Michele nailed it big time! This song still be my favorite and I don’t know for how long. Nothing can describe my feelings for this song.
